Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Silver Lined AI Ltd (“Silver Lined AI”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.silverlinedai.com (the “Site”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
The short version. This Site does not set any cookies, and we do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Because we place no non-essential cookies, you won’t see a cookie consent banner here, and there is nothing you need to accept or reject.
The sections below give the full detail, including the one third-party request your browser makes when a page loads.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website can place on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to collect information about how a site is used. “Similar technologies” — such as local storage, tracking pixels and software development kits — can be used in comparable ways. Cookies are often described as strictly necessary (needed for the site to function) or non-essential (for analytics, advertising or personalisation), and under UK law the non-essential kind generally require your consent before they can be set.
2. Do we use cookies?
No. This Site is deliberately built to be privacy-friendly. It does not set any first-party cookies, and it does not load any third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics), advertising networks, social-media pixels, or tag managers. We do not track your behaviour across this Site or across other websites.
Because we do not place any cookies that require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR, we do not show a cookie consent banner. There is no tracking for you to opt out of.
3. Cookies used on this Site
For complete transparency, here is the current position:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| None — this Site sets no cookies of any kind. | |||
If you inspect your browser while visiting the Site and see storage entries, they will have been set by your own browser or extensions, not by us.
4. Third-party connections
Although we set no cookies, loading any web page involves your browser making requests to the servers that deliver the page’s content. The only such third-party request on this Site is:
- Google Fonts. We use the “Inter” web font, which your browser requests from Google’s servers when a page loads. This does not set a cookie on your device, but Google does receive your IP address as part of serving the font. See our Privacy Policy for how we treat this and Google’s privacy information.
Separately, when you choose to submit the contact form, your details are sent to our form provider (Web3Forms) so your message can reach us. That happens only at the moment you submit the form, it does not set a cookie in your browser, and it is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Because this Site uses no cookies, you don’t need to change any settings to browse it privately. More generally, though, you are always in control of cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you view the cookies stored on your device, delete them, and block some or all of them — usually under a “Privacy” or “Privacy and security” settings menu. Blocking all cookies may stop some other websites from working properly, but it will not affect this Site.
The ICO publishes clear, independent guidance on cookies and how to manage them at ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies.
6. If this changes
We may decide in future to introduce cookies or similar technologies — for example, privacy- respecting analytics to understand how the Site is used. If we do, we will update this policy, set out exactly what is used and why, and — for any non-essential cookies — ask for your consent through a cookie banner before they are set, as required by PECR and the UK GDPR. We will also revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
7. Contact & complaints
